I had a delightful escape at Ardoe House, enjoying the beautiful countryside setting and the excellent spa facilities. The rooms were spacious and well-decorated, providing a comfortable stay. Dining was a highlight, with exceptional food both at breakfast and dinner. However, the bar area felt cramped, and the afternoon tea arrangement could have been better organized, which slightly dampened the experience.
I had a lovely experience at this hotel with its elegant atmosphere and charming details. The spa facilities were outstanding, helping me unwind completely. However, I did notice some maintenance issues that took away from the overall experience. The dining could also use some improvement, especially during busy times like weddings.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The building is beautiful, and the food was enjoyable, particularly the breakfast which featured a nice Scottish spread. However, there were definitely some teething problems with cleanliness and the service, especially in the spa where no treatments were available despite high expectations. Plus, the lack of communication regarding these issues was frustrating.
The Ardoe Hotel has potential with its comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast, but the dining experience and service were lacking. It feels more like a venue for events than a relaxing getaway. Improvements are definitely needed to elevate its status as a luxury hotel.
